Carriage Crossing Positions


The primary purpose of the nurse is to provide high quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards and health care regulations governing licensed, professional nursing.

  • Leads licensed and non-professional staff in delivering resident care.
  • Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with current regulations and guidelines governing long term care, including daily clinical and environmental rounds to evaluate resident care, report significant events; rounds with healthcare providers; Utilizes nursing qualifications according to resident care plan, wishes and physician orders.
  • Oversight of clinical programs; dementia, wound care, quality assurance, infection control, admissions, and transfers.

The primary purpose of the Caregiver is to provide personalized care and service; uphold the philosophy of assisted living, in a manner conducive to the safety, comfort, dignity and well-being of the residents.

  • Provides quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with community philosophy, policies and resident rights; Assists residents in meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; Follows instructions provided of Team Leader in regards to Resident Care and adheres to established policies and procedures.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair, nail and oral care, laundry, meal delivery, feeding, escorting residents, ambulation assistance, toileting, and basic preventive skin care.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide quick, efficient, pleasant delivery of food to residents and guests, ensuring the highest quality standards of food and service are delivered. Must be customer service oriented, and willing to provide our residents and guests with a restaurant-style dining service experience.  Attention to proper hand hygiene and infection control is a must ensuring the dining room and kitchen meet healthcare standards according to the local health dept.


The primary purpose of this position is to prepare, serve, and handle food in accordance with federal and state regulations and community policies and procedures. Maintain clean and sanitized dining service areas and assist in the receiving, rotation, and storage of products.

  • Identify and report food and supplies needed for the following week's menus; Assists in receiving, rotation, and storage of products and ensures proper storage and handling of food in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Prepares menus and cooks food in accordance with nutritional guidelines, regulations, and resident's individual prescribed diet and food preferences; Presents food in an appetizing and attractive manner; Ensures that food is delivered on time and in a pleasant manner.
  • Visits with residents at each meal when available and ensure quality service; Encourages residents to participate in the food service program and provides a forum for their input.
